With January 2019 coming to end and Chinese New Year approaching, Ludovic, hotel and luxury development expert, in association with Vitisasia, is gathering 50 influential people in House on Sathorn, Bangkok, for a an exceptional private Champagne reception.
Champagne glasses will be ringing in the fabulous setting of the Emerald and Secret rooms where guests will be offered an opportunity to share a memorable experience, build rapport and possibly develop business.
The event is supported by Champagne Gosset considered as the the oldest Champagne house in the World (1584).
We will take the opportunity to introduce our lucky guests the highly exclusive Le Cercle concept: a rare chance to create your own custom blend, to your own taste, at a private, personalized workshop run by Gosset’s wine-maker cellar. Le Cercle concept is distributed in Asia by Vitisasia.
For over four centuries, great care has been taken to preserve a family know-how in the making of wines of Champagne.
In 1584, Pierre Gosset, alderman of Aÿ and wine-grower made still wines, mostly red, with the grapes he harvested from his own vines. In those days, two wines vied for pride of place at the table of the Kings of France: the wine of Aÿ and, from several hundreds of leagues further south, the wines of Beaune. Both were made from the same grape varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Then, in the 18th century, the wines made in and around Aÿ began to bubble.
Today, the Gosset cuvées are still presented in the antique flask identical to the one used since the 18th century.
They carefully avoid malo-lactic fermentation so that the wines keep all their natural fruitiness.
Cheers!
